Eating Disorder

Youth who struggle with societal pressure, activities/sports that focus on body image, and anxiety have a higher risk of developing an eating disorder. It’s important to talk with your teen about healthy eating habits. Some of the signs your teen may have an eating disorder include:

  • Skipping meals.
  • Focus on weight.
  • Excessive exercise.
  • Goes to the bathroom before or during meals.

If your teen is showing some of these signs, it’s time to talk to your doctor. Work with your medical professional to help your teen get back on track with their health.
