Turn-About Ranch - Residential Treatment for Teens on a Working Ranch

Real Ranch. Real Values. Real Change.

help for troubled teens Many teenagers have become resistant to the influence of adults. It seems as though they only care about the opinions and beliefs of their friends or older teens. This lack of respect for adults creates an attitude where teenagers are unwilling to learn from those who have gone before them.

Turn-About Ranch has a unique way of helping teens connect with and value the adults in their life. Unlike other programs where the main staff are college-aged young adults, the majority of the staff at Turn-About Ranch are more mature, with real life experiences from which to draw. The variety of staff provides a family setting in which students connect with people of various ages, and come to appreciate the lessons they can learn from a wide variety of life experiences. It re-introduces them to the importance of family bonds. The connections students make with our staff help them appreciate their parents and grandparents, and the lessons they can learn from family members – opportunities that they may not have appreciated before. programs for troubled teens

We believe that a healthy relationship with adults is important for long-term success, and that teenagers need these connections. Students learn how to trust and respect adults, and experience what it is like to be respected and trusted in return. We teach teens that when their relationship with their parents is built on trust and respect, their family will be able to work through any challenge that comes along.
